Our last year of full funding for the WVSNP Grant is exemplified by the check that FOHO WV passed to WVDA
It has been a long journey to obtain a statewide spay neuter program in WV. We had requested $900,000 in 2017 but we were only funded by half for the first 5 years. Then to our rescue came Mug-Z-Moo offering full funding for the next 4 years. Comm. Leonhardt has led his team to making this program a true success for the citizens of our state. What we need is full funding to continue to actually deal with the pet overpopulation in our state. Our hope is to find that funding solution. Thank you WVDA, the FOHO board, The WVDA WVSNP Committee members and all the grant recipients and veterinarians throughout WV in all 55 counties for making this program a national model.
